CS LANDEGO

Built in 1927 by Moss Verft A/S., Moss, Norway.

Length 128.0 ft. Breadth 24.1 ft. Depth 12.3 ft. Gross tonnage 344

Built for the Norwegian PTT for cable repairs. Stationed at Bodø in Northern Norway throughout her working life. Fitted with German-designed and built cable machinery, two bow sheaves and a cable tank capable of storing 230 miles of cable. In 1942 Landego struck a mine north of Harstad and sank.
