Built in 1920 by McDougall-Duluth S.B. Company, Minnesota

Length 251.0 ft  Breadth 43.7 ft  Depth 22.2 ft  Gross tonnage 2456

Originally a molasses carrier named Julius Kessler. Purchased by India Rubber Gutta Percha and Telegraph Works Company in 1922 and fitted with a double paying out-picking up machine forward and a paying out machine aft, supplied by Johnson and Phillips, which were installed on the forward and aft well decks.

In 1933 Silvergray was sold to the Medway Steam Packet Company; the ship was broken up two years later.
