Built in 1944 by Teesside Bridge & Engine Works, England

Length 156.5 ft.  Breadth 22.1 ft. Draught 9.2 ft.  Gross tonnage 319

A tank landing craft purchased by Standard Telephon og Kabelfabrik and converted for laying power cables in Norwegian coastal waters. Cable machinery was fitted in the tank deck along with a hold for storing cable. Initially two bow sheaves were fitted but were replaced by a large skid.
